ISAE 3402 Type II statement for Tangelo Software

Increasing international competition, pressure on cost savings and technological developments causes more organizations to outsource their processes. Being able to demonstrate that IT security and privacy are structurally in order is increasingly a prerequisite for using these solutions. Earlier this year we reported that Tangelo Software has successfully completed the audit of ISAE 3402 Type I with the help of Conclude accountants. Now, we can announce that we also have successfully completed the ISAE 3402 Type II.

"ISAE 3402 is developed by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board and is a globally accepted assurance standard. Type I means that your internal control framework is in place. In the Type II statement, the auditor also verifies whether the described control measures have worked effectively over a period of at least six months. The testing of this operation is intensive, whereby is determined whether you comply with the control measures of your control framework in daily work practice. This provides our customers the additional assurance that their data is in good hands with us," said Rene Tensen, Managing Director Tangelo Software.

He continues, "The ISAE 3402 Type II statement can be seen as the ultimate quality mark, an assurance for customers that we fully control the critical processes for our services. How the service organization controls the operational processes and how matters such as risk management and information security are dealt with is recorded in the ISAE 3402 report. Tangelo now has ISAE 3402 Type II report. This report records exactly how we at Tangelo deal with information security and risk management."
